
LEGACY DONATIONS
Every adult should have a will, regardless of their age, income or wealth — it’s the only way of ensuring your wishes are met after your death. If you don’t make a will, your loved ones could face significant administrative and legal complications at a very difficult time. This is particularly true of those in same-sex relationships.
As a giving vehicle, a Will is widely used where an individual wishes to make relatively simple charitable legacies. We are not able to advise on writing your will and advise that you speak with your solicitor about what is the best option for you and your beneficiaries.

“I bequeath the sum of (___ percent) of my estate to The Lesbian Project, a UK nonprofit corporation having a principal place of business at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1W 5PF with the registered Company number 14462186, to be used or disposed of as The Lesbian Project in its sole discretion deems appropriate.”Residuary Gift - share of residue of estate:
“I devise and bequeath (___ percent) of the remainder of my property to The Lesbian Project, a UK nonprofit corporation having a principal place of business at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1W 5PF with the registered Company number 14462186, to be used or disposed of as The Lesbian Project in its sole discretion deems appropriate.”
